The Sony VPL-FX500L is Better, Brighter, and Backed by a dual lamp technology that can give you up to 8000 hours without having to replace the lamp.

If one lamp goes down, the other lamp takes over AUTOMATICALLY for seamless presentations. Since both lamps are used alternately, approximate lamp life is up to 8000 hours.

The VPLFX500L is a 7000 ANSI Lumen, XGA LCD Powerhouse designed to blend into ceilings and look more like a 2X2 ceiling tile, than a large hulking projector. Any super large screens or high ambient light applications can now be solved with this one projector.
