I'd Like To Show You
The Big Picture With Visualization Stations.
A couple weeks ago, I was invited to visit the control room at a local event facility. I was amazed at how they had so many large LCD displays mounted across the front of the room, with each one showing multiple images on it. When I asked how they did this, I was astounded at the number of switchers and processors that they had purchased in order to accomplish this task.
No matter wherever I go these days, it seems as though there’s a big display showing lots of images. I’ve seen it in sports bars, hotels and convention centers. It’s a staple in security offices, and in video distribution rooms. And of course, its all over the place in command and control centers and in TV studios.
So, how can we accomplish this in a more simple and straightforward way? And how can we save a ton of money in the process?
